Every country has their culture which has developed over time. Culture is a living organism … evolving with the times. Some traits have roots that go back for many years and are unique to a country. Europe has deep cultural roots and one country can be quite difference from its neighbor even though only a few miles separate the two. Even within a single small country, strong regional traits distinguish one tiny area from another.
It’s an interesting experience to become immersed in another culture. It’s also when you are outside the bubble of your own culture you can have a unique vantage point to see the character of your culture. Ask a fish if the water is fine …they will say yes because they are in it. When you step outside, you see culture more objectively.
